In times like these especially, it is more important than ever to follow a few simple rules. For your personal safety as well as that of our own employees. Read below about the safety measures we have currently implemented as well as a few processes that we have reorganized. As with everywhere else in our daily lives, during your holidays you will encounter a few new rules in the interest of our collective safety. These include distancing requirements, wearing a facemask in all indoor hotel spaces, as well as increased hygiene measures, both visible and behind the scenes. Book with confidence: Until further notice, we have adapted our cancelation conditions to the current situation. If your vacation is impacted by local or personal travel restrictions due to the Covid-19 pandemic (such as quarantine or travel bans for Austria), you will not incur any cancelation charges.

BOOKINGS & ARRIVAL

Until further notice, we have adapted our cancelation conditions to the current situation. If your vacation is impacted by local or personal travel restrictions due to the Covid-19 pandemic (such as quarantine or travel bans for Austria), you will not incur any cancelation charges. That said, we encourage you to travel ONLY if you are in good health.

"BETER SAFE THAN SORRY - CANCELAION PROTECTION"

Add "Better safe than sorry - cancelation protection" directly to your booking for just € 3.00 per person and night. With this insurance policy, you can cancel your booking free of charge up to your scheduled arrival day. For further information, please phone us at 06474/2337.

CHECK-IN - RECEPTION

We have placed disinfectant dispensers at the reception and ask you to maintain a safe distance from other persons. To shorten waiting times, we ask our guests to provide check-in information to us prior to arrival by email (date of birth, name, address, …)

FACEMASKS

For best-possible Corona prevention, we sincerely and urgently ask you to wear a facemask covering your mouth and nose in all public indoor hotel spaces. Exceptions include obvious holiday situations such as sitting in the restaurant or enjoying our wellness area. Please comply with this simple measure. Our employees also wear facemasks. We would be pleased if you would bring your own new “holiday accessory” with you. Though we also have facemasks available at the reception if needed.

HYGIENE IN YOUR ROOM

Daily room cleaning has been adapted to the new standards and carefully thought through in collaboration with our hygiene partners. Our maids work with cleaning products that contain disinfectants. Bedding and towels are washed according to stringent hygiene standards by a commercial hotel laundry.

DINING

We are pleased to offer you the customary combination of variety from the buffet & creativity from the kitchen whilst complying with the new safety regulations.

WELLNESS AREA & SPA

You can continue to enjoy our massage and beauty services consistent with the new hygiene and safety measures. Our wellness area offers plenty of room and the requisite amount of space between guests, with the number of guests permitted capped correspondingly. In the relaxation rooms, we have placed the loungers and beds to ensure a minimum distance of 1 meter from your fellow guests.

SAFETY DURING WINTER SEASON

You can count on it. At the Gambswirt, we do everything we can for your safety. Your safety is the top priority for all of us. That said, we have implemented all necessary measures to allow you to enjoy your holiday in complete confidence.

CHECK-OUT

Of course, you are welcome to use contactless forms of payment and we actively encourage you to avoid paying in cash. You also have the option of paying your bill the day before you actually depart.

WHAT WOULD THE GAMBSWIRT DO IF THERE WERE A COVID CASE AT THE HOTEL?

In the event that we have a suspected COVID-19 case at the hotel, in cooperation with a local doctor we have developed a detailed response plan that enables us to implement the right measures without delay. Please notify us if you feel unwell or sick. Our reception team has been trained and will be able to provide you with professional assistance.

The sick person and all family members must stay in their rooms.
We will contact a doctor immediately.
If Covid is suspected, the doctor will notify the local health authorities.
The room will be professionally disinfected.
